2009-Apr-15Ethical values and the New Age (draft)
It would appear that we are transitioning from an age of darkness based on power, money and greed to an age of enlightenment based on ethics and love. I would like to propose that any initiative we take should be based on the following values Truth Love Goodness (or Virtue) Peace Non-violence I believe if we undertake any activity whatsoever, based on these values, we will be successful. Love and peace, Sol  view proposition

2008-Jul-21Distillation of Core Values (draft)
This revision begins as a product of contributions during the 14 August 08 meeting of the Core Values Group and a following session of Ricardo Johansson and Charlie Donaldson. It was preceded by Christine Willmot's version that followed Ricardo Johansson's distillation of the First Light compilation of Bithah Dawn that included the already-accumulated efforts of various individuals and groups throughout the Byron Shire over the years. We all share authorship.  view proposition

2008-Sep-14Soul Core Values  (draft)
Carolyn Baker’s (http://carolynbaker.net/site/) article called 'Illusions of Inclusivity in the Culture of 'Whatever'' maintains that there it is still an Elders role to offer Core Values, and to provide a forum for open discussion and processes that lead to Commonality agreements. Each proposition (and Elder) needs to be evaluated on merit, and emerging Elders are offering these forums for Freedom (detachment from outcome) and Love (respect, compassion by respecting The People's free will). The proponent offers 9 Core Values as an expression of a heartfelt desire to facilitate discussion of essential common principles that underlie awakening Communities.  view proposition

# 2 23-Jul-2008Identification of common themes
Thanks Bithah. I feel that the next phase with these various staements is to identify the common major core value (CV)themes. If we have chosen the BSC draft management plan CV's as being the best starting point for these themes, then, then we need to relate the CV's from our other sources to the BSC CV's. Once this is done, we will have a mechanism for dialogue between all organisations that have contributed their CV's. We will also be able to use these themes as the basis of the draft Community Core Values (CCV's) to be ...  continue
